The Oakland University Police Department investigation of an incident that occurred early Saturday morning at the Ann V. Nicholson student apartments has identified a non-student as a primary suspect.
The individual reportedly brandished a knife at a group of OU students who had asked him to leave a party. The suspect fled the scene as police arrived. No one was hurt.
The suspect has been interviewed and released pending a warrant for his arrest, which will be sought on Monday.
