The Oakland University Alumni Association has recently
started a volunteer tradition and serving at Commencement is one way to
meaningfully engage the graduating class, their families and guests. On
Commencement day, volunteer assignments are focused on ensuring a warm
welcome of our guests—many stepping foot on the campus for
the first time. Alumni volunteers serving on December 17, 2011 will
stand out in the crowd with their commencement OUAA volunteer attire to
welcome guests, answer questions, and to ensure that everyone has a
commencement program. Nearly 10,000 guests are expected to attend the
three Commencement Ceremonies to celebrate the accomplishments of our
new graduates. For more information and registration, please click here.
