Student registration continues for the winter 2012 semester
Eligible Oakland University students may continue to register for winter 2012 classes, which begin on Wednesday, Jan. 4.
There is still time to meet with an academic adviser before registering for classes. Oakland advisers help guide students in their course selection, review progress toward fulfillment of degree requirements, interpret and clarify policies and procedures, and more.
Undergraduate students should go to the Academic Advising Contact website at oakland.edu/advising for a list of advising contacts in each school or college. Graduate students should contact their academic department.
Click on SAIL (in the upper right-hand corner of the OU home page)
Log in using your NetID and password
Once inside the portal, click on Register for Classes
Before registering, click on Check Your Registration Status (to view any holds or registration permits or overrides)

Students who have already registered for winter 2012 classes should review their class schedule now to become familiar with it. Students should also review these helpful reminders about winter registration.
For important billing and payment information, including available payment plans (oakland.edu/paymentplan), visit the Student Business Services website. Winter tuition will be due in Jan. 2012. Students expecting financial aid or a scholarship to pay a bill can check their financial aid status and awards on SAIL at mysail.oakland.edu. All financial aid will be deducted from a student’s bill.
