7th Annual OU Night at Comerica Park a roaring success
The grizzly spirit roared into Detroit this August, as nearly 240 Oakland University alumni and friends cheered on the Tigers at the 7th Annual OU Night at Comerica Park.
The group drew the attention of the crowd, as they were projected on the jumbo screen during the sixth inning.
Sponsored by the Oakland University Alumni Association, participants were able to travel to the game in a chartered bus that will become an annual staple, and were offered plenty of opportunities to reconnect and network with other area alumni.
At the ballpark, participants were treated to an endless picnic dinner at Party Deck 1 and received new grizzly T-shirts, courtesy of alumnus Brian McCarthy ’74. The Oakland group had lower bowl seats along the right field line in section 113, offering fans a chance to catch foul balls as the evening settled into a picture perfect Michigan summer night.
New and returning alumni who missed out this year will have a chance to attend next August, with the 8th Annual OU Night at Comerica Park. For more information on this and other upcoming OUAA events and programs, visit the website at oualumni.com/OUAA.
