OU African Ensemble and Steel Band to play free concert June 14

The Oakland University community is invited to while away the summer lunch hour with the sounds of the African Ensemble and Steel Band.

The ensemble will provide a free concert on Tuesday, June 14 from noon to 1 p.m. on the Oakland Center patio, located in the lower level of the Oakland Center across from the Bumpers Game Room.

Mark Stone will be conducting the African Ensemble, Akwaaba, and the Steel Band, Pan-Jumbies.

Chartwell’s will be on hand with hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and pop for purchase. Attendees may also bring their own lunch to the event.
