Oakland University’s C.O.R.E. (Collectively Oakland Retains Everyone) group will have a welcome reception on Thursday, June 16, for newly admitted students.
The reception will provide students with the opportunity to meet with staff from the Center for Multicultural Initiatives and other OU departments to learn about specific resources. There will also be financial aid officers on hand from 4-6 p.m. to answer questions and help students complete their financial aid packages.
Current OU students and alumni will share ideas of what to expect in college and the keys to being a successful student. The C.O.R.E presentation will begin at 6 p.m. Refreshments will be served. For more information, contact the CMI at (248) 370-4404 or cmi@oakland.edu.
