SBA congratulates this year's scholarship winners

Support from individuals, organizations, corporations and foundations means that Oakland University and the School of Business Administration can offer scholarships to give students opportunity -- opportunity to enroll in classes, take advantage of experiential learning, present at conferences or travel abroad. A scholarship can make a profound difference in a student's collegiate career.

The SBA makes it a priority to help students complete their college dreams. With more than 20 different scholarships available within the SBA alone, more than $25,000 is awarded annually. The SBA offers scholarships for financial need, academic achievement, working students, returning students and those related to specific majors and careers. In 2011-12, the OU Alumni Association awarded $57,000 to 21 students -- including SBA students -- thanks to generous donations from OUAA members and revenue from OUAA events and programs.
