Selection Sunday to determine Grizzlies' NCAA opponent on March 13
OU's Golden Grizzlies, the Summit League champions, will learn who they will play in the NCAA Tournament at the Selection Sunday Celebration on Sunday, March 13.
The Oakland University Golden Grizzlies have captured a second consecutive Summit League championship and will compete in their second straight trip to the Big Dance.
The university community is invited to join the Golden Grizzlies at the Selection Sunday Celebration starting at 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 13, in the O'rena, when the team will learn who they'll face in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
Students, alumni and all other Golden Grizzlies fans are invited to meet the players, enjoy refreshments and entertainment, and watch the live CBS broadcast, beginning at 6 p.m. on the O'rena big screen. The event is free and open to everyone.

Additionally, Grizzly fans are invited to attend the OU Basketball Breakfast, where they can meet and mingle with two-time Summit League Player of the Year Keith Benson, five-time league coach of the year Greg Kampe and other players and coaches.
The event will take place from 7:15 - 8:45 a.m. on Monday, March 14, at the Royal Park Hotel in downtown Rochester. The event features a buffet breakfast and giveaways, including autographed items, post-season tickets and 2011-2012 season tickets.
The cost is $25 per person (advance payment is strongly suggested) or $30 at the door, with only a limited number available. Call (248) 370-2669 to purchase tickets with a credit card. Those interested in attending should R.S.V.P. by Friday, March 11.
