Oakland swimmers reach the top of the Summit League

Senior Marcin Unold won the 100 and 200 backstroke and swam on five championship relays in being named the Championship MVP.

Oakland University's men's and women's swimming and diving teams continued their outstanding record of success during the Summit League Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday evening. Freshman Vanessza Balogh and sophomore Nick Evans broke two school and meet records each during the event. On the men's side, Oakland scored 998 points for their 12th straight Summit League title and pushing their conference record to 33-0.
