IMPORTANT NOTICE: These are public events, open to all applicants who meet the minimum qualifications as described in the qualifications section. Applicants from all Michigan colleges and universities are encouraged to attend.
DAY 1: 5 p.m. to 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1
201 Dodge Hall of Engineering (DHE)
Panel Presentation: “A Career in Child Welfare Services for the Social Sciences”
• Open event, but seating is limited. Pre-register at

• Casual dress attire preferred.
• At the conclusion of this panel, interested applicants will have the opportunity to sign up for a one-hour time slot on Day 2.
DAY 2: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2
Meadow Brook Hall Ballroom
Application and Round 1 of Interviews. *Applicants sign up for ONLY a one-hour time slot.
• This is NOT an open event; pre-registration takes place on Day 1.
• Applicants must bring a copy of their résumé and unofficial transcripts as computers, copiers and fax machines will NOT be available.
• Casual dress attire is preferred.
• During the one-hour time slot, applicants will complete a written exercise, application form, and undergo a 10-minute behavioral-based interview with a DHS employee.
• Applicants will be notified later in the day if they are selected to come back on Day 3 for Round 2 of Interviews.
DAY 3: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 3

Round 2 of Interviews. *Applicants sign up for ONLY a one-hour time slot by invitation only.
• This is NOT an open event; applicants will be invited by DHS to take part in Day 3.
• Applicants must bring a photocopy of their driver’s license and social security card, in addition to five professional references as computers, copiers and fax machines will NOT be available.
• Professional dress attire is expected.
• During this one-hour time slot, applicants will complete a 45-minute behavioral-based interview with two DHS employees.
