M2O REMINDERS

Academic Advising – You should meet with your OU academic adviser at least once per semester. Visit the Advising website for contact information for each academic area and to schedule your individual appointment on OU's campus.

OU also offers Macomb Advising days for your convenience. OU academic advisers will be on-site at Macomb on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Call (586) 263-6242 to schedule an appointment.

Undecided about your major? OU's
Advising Resource Center assists students who are still exploring their options.

Financial Aid - As soon as possible after January 1, apply or renew your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the following academic year. Applying early ensures the fullest consideration for financial aid, which is awarded on a first come, first served basis as funding allows. Do not wait until your income tax forms are completed to submit this form. You may use estimates of your income and will have the opportunity to correct errors later. You will need OU's school code, 002307. To be eligible for Michigan state aid the FAFSA must be received by the federal processor no later than March 1.

For more information, please contact OU Student Financial Services
at (248) 370-2550

Paying Your Bill – If you take classes at both OU and Macomb, you will be billed separately. As an M2O student, you are responsible for paying each one according to institutional payment due dates.
