Annual Side by Side Symposium for Teachers of Writing in K-12+

Mark your calendar for this year's Side by Side Symposium on January 29, 2011 from 8 a.m.–3 p.m. at the Macomb Intermediate School District.

This year's symposium, Rough Water Ahead: Teaching Writing in Turbulent Times, will offer workshops, presentations, and lively conversations between teachers of writing as they face the challenges and changes of a new century!

The registration fee ($25 for pre-service teachers or part-time teachers and $35 for all other attendees ) includes breakfast, lunch, and engaging presentations and workshops targeted for teachers in the elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as those teaching college-level writing across the content areas.
