OU Legacy Night at the O'Rena set for Jan. 6, 2011
For many students, attending Oakland University is a family tradition. To celebrate this unique group, the Oakland University Alumni Association is hosting the second annual Legacy Night at the O’Rena on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011.
This free event allows current students and their families to watch the The Golden Grizzlies men's basketball team will take on Summit League foe Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis.
“OU Legacy Night is a great way to start the new year,” said Luke Fleer, associate director of Alumni Engagement. “The event is a wonderful way to bring together OU alumni and current legacies for a good meal and to root on the Grizzlies.”
OUAA will present a pre-game reception for attendees beginning at 6 p.m. in the Oakland Center Gold Rooms. Participants will receive their game ticket and a complimentary gift at the reception.
Current students with alumni family members are invited to watch the Golden Grizzlies at Legacy Night at the O’Rena on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011.
