OU Night at the Meadow Brook Hall Holiday Walk set for Dec. 7

Oakland University students, staff, faculty, and alumni are invited to bring back “The Treasures of Childhood” at the 39th annual Meadow Brook Hall Holiday Walk. OU night will take place from 5-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 7.
On this special night just for the Oakland community can attend the Holiday Walk at a discounted rate of $12 per person with a valid OU or Credit Union identification. Participants can also visit with Santa Claus and enjoy light refreshments in a private reception area.
Members of the OU community include students, staff, faculty, alumni and their family and friends; as well as MSUFCU members and their families.
“This year’s decorations offer a childlike sense of wonder, featuring historical period toys, trains and family photographs,” said Shannon O’Berski, marketing and communications manager for The Hall.
The Holiday Walk is open to the general public from Friday, Nov. 26 through Wednesday, Dec. 22, with speical events scattered throughout the month.
Visitors can enjoy a free visit with Santa at Knole Cottage on Saturday, Dec. 11, and Sunday, Dec. 12. A hearty holiday breakfast with Santa is set for Sunday, Dec. 12 or 19, or come to supper with Santa on Monday, Dec. 13. Guests are invited to warm up with a special Holiday Tea on Tuesday, Dec. 14 or 21, or cool down with the Starlight Stroll on Thursday, Dec. 16.
