Hiring for business graduates expected to increase

The 2010-11 Recruiting Trends Report from the Collegiate Employment Research Institute says the national job market for college graduates is expected to rebound slightly next year. Overall hiring is expected to increase 3 percent, and people with bachelor's and master's degrees in business is expected to increase 10 percent.

The study shows the Great Lakes region of Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Wisconsin will see the biggest boost in the nation, with bachelor degree level hiring expected to increase 13%.

The survey found much of the growth will be in manufacturing, professional services, large commercial banking and the federal government.

The report is based on a survey of 4,600 employers.
