Alumni, family and friends enjoy a free day of fun and fitness at the OU Rec Center

Oakland University aAlumni, family and friends are invited to try out the campus recreation center from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, January 13 free of charge. Participants can play basketball and racquetball, attend fitness classes, run the track, relax in the hot tub and swim laps in the pool. Other activities include yoga, Zumba, cycling, Ab Lab and fitness Assessments, and Flirty Girl Fitness Class. 

Adults must sign in with a picture ID and children fewer than 18 must be accompanied by an adult while in the facility. Young children must be in the same area as their parent or legal guardian. Children must be 16 to enter the fitness center.

The Rec Center will be promoting memberships, offering $25 off to any primary member purchasing annual memberships and 2 free guest passes for any primary member purchasing a new four month membership!  This membership promotion will only be available during the preview day event on January 13.

In addition, the Rec Center offers great rates on individual and buddy personal training, as well as BLAST group personal training class.  Get ready for the summer by taking private swim lessons, S.C.U.B.A classes, or choose from our wide range of American Red Cross Health and Safety classes,
