Korean culture celebration set for Oct. 26 in the ERL

The Oakland University community is welcome to participate in a celebration and exhibition of Korean culture, to be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 26, in the Educational Resources Lab (ERL).
Mi Dong, a member of the board of American Citizens for Justice, will be presenting on Korean history and the role of Korean Americans in the United States work force.
YoonHee Choi and her musical group will play traditional Korean music on traditional Korean instruments.
Korean culture, music, and food will be highlighted in this free event that includes a light lunch of Korean food.
To add to this celebration, the ERL will have Korean cultural artifacts on display this fall from Oct. 18 to Nov. 4.
ERL hours are from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
