Oakland University is seeking its best and brightest students to apply for the 2010 Undergraduate Distinguished Achievement Award.
The award will go to a student who has done something above and beyond the call of normal course and degree requirements to bring distinction to him or herself and to the university.
Any enrolled undergraduate student is eligible, with a nomination by a faculty or staff member. The $500 cash award will be presented at the December Commencement exercises.
To nominate a student, send a letter of nomination and documentation of the student’s qualifications and outstanding behavior to Susan Wood at wood@oakland.edu in the Department of Art and Art History.
Applications and nominations must be turned in by Monday, Oct. 11.
