M2O Student Story

Chelsea Gouin is one busy M2O student. Currently in her sophomore year, she is working on her associate's degree in Occupational Therapy at Macomb Community College and a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at Oakland University. She hopes to one day earn her masters in Special Education. Being a student in the education program at the Macomb University Center, Chelsea has visited her academic advisor, Andreea Bordeianu. She said, "Andreea really helped me map out all the classes I need to complete my degree,  I would recommend that everyone in the M2O program go and visit their academic advisor". Chelsea loves the M2O program because it really helps her out! She saves a ton of gas and money, actually it's a lot of money, about  $3000 a year! With a full schedule of two classes at Oakland and two classes at Macomb, Chelsea is also actively involved in student activities at both institutions. At Macomb she practices her dancing skills in the Ballroom Dancing Club and at OU she attends St. John's Ministry. In addition to her studies and student activities, she works part-time for Always Care Service which is an organization that provides home care to individuals with special needs. When this busy M2O student isn't studying, working, or participating in school activies, she volunteers as a haunter for Morrow Road.  Morrow Road is a scary movie staring Ellen Sandweiss from Evil Dead. The movie is based on the actual hauntings in Algonac, MI. You can actually visit Morrow Road starting the 2nd weekend in October. Along with a friend, Chelsea is also writing a book that is based on the story of Morrow Road. Chelsea is a busy girl who uses the M2O program to help make things easier.
