OU Athletics to join community at Festival of the Hills celebration

Oakland University Athletics will be participating in the Festival of the Hills Fourth of July celebration scheduled from 6:30-10 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30, at Borden Park, located on the corner of John R and Hamlin Roads.

Community members are encouraged to come out and enjoy an evening of fun-filled activities and music acts, followed by a lively fireworks display after 10 p.m.

OU Athletics staff will be available to provide information on Oakland programs including athletics, admissions, University Housing, OU2Macomb, Campus Recreation, OU Alumni Association, the Oakland Center and much more.

The OU cheer and dance teams will be on hand to meet and greet with Golden Grizzly fans. Special performances by both teams are tentatively scheduled. Attendees are advised to visit the information tent located behind the stage to determine the location of the OU Athletics Booth.
