NO HAZ offers recycling and hazardous waste disposal on May 22

From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, the North Oakland Household Hazardous Waste Consortium (NO HAZ) will offer recycling and household hazardous waste disposal service for residents in member communities.

These include Addison Township, Groveland Township, Village of Lake Orion, City of Lake Angelus, Village of Leonard, Oakland Township, Orion Township, Oxford Township/Village, City of Rochester and City of Rochester Hills.

Participants are asked to pay a $10 fee or present a voucher from their city, village or township to participate in the NO HAZ recycling/disposal event at OU. For more information on member communities and accepted materials, visit the NO HAZ website.

Preparation for this event will require closing the P3 lot on Saturday. Once again, traffic is expected to be heavy on Meadow Brook Road. OU police are recommending use of the P2, P5 and P11 parking lots.
