OU's CIBRE offers professional education for finance professionals
Finance professionals can take advantage of Oakland University's Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Weekend on Friday, June 4, and from June 9-12. Full-day sessions run from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and evening sessions run from 5-9 p.m.
The CPE Weekend offers a wide range of courses including accounting, auditing, management, ethics, leadership and a variety of tax-based topics. Courses are held throughout the day to accommodate working professionals.
There is no registration fee and participants pay only for the sessions they choose to attend. The cost is $45 per session for those registering before Friday, May 14. After May 14, the fee is $50 per session.
All sessions will be held in Elliott Hall on Oakland's campus. A complimentary continental breakfast and luncheon will be provided for participants attending each full day of classes. Snacks will be provided for evening sessions.
Participants can register using a credit card or an online checking account by visiting oakland.edu/cpeweekend, then choosing "online registration information."
