"Watch parties" showcase Golden Grizzlies' NCAA game on March 19

Oakland University Golden Grizzlies fans can gather to cheer the team as it battles Pittsburgh at a “watch party,” beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 19 at Buffalo Wild Wings in Rochester Hills (at the corner of Livernois Avenue and Walton Boulevard).

The game is scheduled to begin at 2:55 p.m. Grizzlies fans are encouraged to wear their Golden Grizzly gear to the watch party. The Grizzlies are the No. 14 seed and the Panthers are the No. 3 seed.

This is Oakland's second NCAA tournament appearance after defeating IUPUI 76-64 in the Summit League championship game this March. The team overcame a slow start to rack up their school-record 11th consecutive win.
