Golden Grizzlies face Pittsburgh in first NCAA tournament round
The Oakland University men's basketball team will face the Pittsburgh Panthers in the first round of the NCAA tournament. The game is set for 2:45 p.m. on Friday, March 19 in Milwaukee.
Oakland continues on its way to a second NCAA tournament appearance after defeating IUPUI 76-64 in the Summit League championship game last week. The team overcame a slow start to rack up their school-record 11th consecutive win.
The Grizzlies are the No. 14 seed and the Panthers are the No. 3 seed.
