Golden Grizzlies clinch their second NCAA tournament bid
The Oakland University men's basketball team is on its way to its second NCAA tournament appearance after defeating IUPUI 76-64 in the Summit League championship game on Tuesday night. The team overcame a slow start to rack up their school-record 11th consecutive win.
The team will learn who they'll face in the first round of the NCAA tournament during Selection Sunday, which will be aired on CBS at 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 14.
The Golden Grizzlies will make an appearance at a Selection Sunday Celebration starting at 5 p.m. in the O'rena. Students, alumni and all other Golden Grizzlies supporters are invited to meet the players, enjoy refreshments and entertainment, watch the CBS broadcast on the O'rena big screen, and learn about ordering tournament tickets.
