Follow the Golden Grizzlies' advance into post season basketball play
As the annual sports extravaganza known as March Madnezz approaches, Golden Grizzly fans can keep up with all the action via radio, television and the Web. They can also celebrate a memorable season by attending the OU Basketball Breakfast on Monday, March 15, following the conclusion of this year’s Summit League Tournament Championships.
The Men’s Semi-final game will be broadcast at 7 p.m. Monday, March 8, on Fox Sports Detroit (OU campus cable channel 28).
The Women’s Championship game will be broadcast at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, on ESPNU (OU campus channel 36).
The Men’s Championship game will be broadcast at 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, on ESPN2 (OU campus cable channel 30).
Tune in to AM 1130 WDFN to follow the Golden Grizzlies' play by play on the hardwood.
A March Madnezz Blog/Podcast Web page will be available at 971theticket.com. Fans can also tune into 97.1 FM, The Ticket for game updates.
Additionally, Grizzly fans are cordially invited to attend the OU Basketball Breakfast, where they can hear a recap of the Summit League Tournament, meet and mingle with coaches and players and get a preview of the Golden Grizzlies’ first-round opponents in either the NIT or NCAA Tournament.
Presented by the OU branch of the MSU Federal Credit Union, the event will take place from 7:15 a.m.-8:45 a.m. on Monday, March 15, at the Royal Park Hotel in downtown Rochester. The event features a buffet breakfast and giveaways, including autographed items, post-season tickets and 2010-2011 season tickets.
