Scholarship Auction fundraiser to benefit OU students

The Oakland University Alumni Association (OUAA) Scholarship program allows students to achieve their dream of pursuing an OU degree. To date, the OUAA has awarded nearly $1 million in scholarships to worthy Oakland students.
We anticipate an even greater number of students will need assistance in the coming year.

The university has established the Grizzly Gala to ensure that the scholarship program will support students in need for many years to come. The event will draw alumni as well as donors, dignitaries and community leaders.

In a year when the economic climate has made it challenging for students to attend college, it is critically important that funds are raised to offset educational costs and to attract the best and brightest.

Save the date for the Grizzly Gala on Friday, April 16, 2010 at the Royal Park Hotel in downtown Rochester beginning at 6 p.m.  Enjoy an evening with friends and an exquisite strolling feast, a silent and live auction and exciting live entertainment.

Ticket levels for the evening include the following:

Polar Level - $75

Entry to the event including entertainment and a strolling dinner with reserved seating (FMV $80).

Kodiak Level - $150

Entry to the event including entertainment and a strolling dinner with priority seating and listing in the program book (FMV $80).
