OUAA Scholarship Opportunities

The Oakland University Alumni Association is currently accepting applications for the 2010 OUAA Scholarship Program. If you are a graduate of Oakland University who is currently pursuing a second degree at OU, you are eligible to apply for a Returning Alumni Scholarship. Or, if you are a parent or grandparent of a current or incoming OU freshman, your student may qualify to apply for a Legacy Scholarship. Both scholarships offered are $3,000 non-renewable awards that will be distributed over the fall 2010 and winter 2011 semesters. You must be a current OUAA member to qualify, and students must meet the minimum GPA requirements to apply.

The OUAA Scholarship Program offers many awards, most of which are open to undergraduate students with junior or senior status by fall 2010. Scholarship applicants must have two or more full-time semesters remaining in their academic program and must have a 3.0 GPA in their major field of study as well as a cumulative 3.0 GPA at OU.

For more information on the variety of scholarships offered, and for complete eligibility requirements, visit
oualumni.com/ouaascholarships or call the Office of Alumni Relations at (248) 364-6140.  The deadline for completed applications is March 1, 2010.
