2010 Summit League Basketball Tournament

As we enter the last month of regular season play, Oakland University’s men’s and women’s basketball teams are setting their sights on Sioux Falls, South Dakota for the 2010 Summit League Tournament.  The winner of the tournament will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship Tournament.

 

Alumni and friends are invited to join the teams in South Dakota for a long weekend of good times and great basketball March 6-9, 2010.  For those interested in hotel information in Sioux Falls, listed below are the hotels where the basketball teams and cheer, dance and band groups will be staying.

Tickets for the Summit League tournament are on sale now.  See below for ticket prices.  For more information, contact Sioux Falls Arena at 1-800-745-3000 or visit www.thesummitleague.org.  

 

·         All Session Ticket: $90 Reserved; $75 General Admission

·         Individual Ticket: $15 Reserved; (Non-Championship Final); $12 General Admission

·         Summit League Student Tickets: $10 per session (must have Summit League institution student ID)

·         Women’s Final: $15 Reserved; $10 General Admission

·         Men’s Final: $15 Reserved; $10 General Admission


Additionally, OU will be hosting multiple events in Sioux Falls to celebrate the teams’ progression through the tournament in the Starlite Room of the Holiday Inn Sioux Falls City Center.  Events will be confirmed once the tournament schedule is solidified. 

 

For those of you who are unable to travel to South Dakota, be on the lookout for more information on local watch parties where alumni and friends can gather together to watch the Summit Championship games on Tuesday, March 9.
