The New Year brings great opportunities for involvement in the Alumni Admissions Ambassador Program (AAAP)! Here are few opportunities for you to the start 2010 off right. If interested, please contact fleer@oakland.edu
School of Engineering and Computer Science (SECS) Day on Saturday, January 23, 2010 from 8:30am – 2:30pm. SECS Alumni Admissions Ambassador Panel from 12:00pm – 12:45pm and AAAP hosts during the day.
Welcome Receptions for admitted students and their families on January 25 and 26, February 8 and 9, and March 2 and 3. AAAP Alumni guest speakers and hosts during these 6:00pm -7:30pm yielding receptions.
The 2nd Annual AAAP Night in the O’Rena is scheduled for February 18, 2010. Watch the OU Grizzlies take on Summit League foe SDSU at 7 pm. AAAP ambassadors will enjoy the game while sitting in the Gold Zone. Free tickets and food vouchers to the AAAP Night at the O’Rena are limited and are first given to alumni who have actively volunteered as an Alumni Admissions Ambassador.
4th Annual Senior Brunch is slated for March 9-10, 2010. Alumni Admissions Ambassadors serve as Alumni Hosts and recruit future graduates to sign up to become engaged with the AAAP. Future graduates hear keen insight on the benefits of joining the Oakland University Alumni Association while learning firsthand the opportunities of being a part of the AAAP program provides.
Alumni who transferred into Oakland are invited to participate in the March 11, 2010 Transfer Open House and May 18, 2010 Transfer Welcome Reception.
Alumni Ambassadors are encouraged to sign up to be a Host for Go For The Gold open house on April 10, 2010.
Out-of-State Alumni are encouraged to connect with program coordinator to arrange participation in a Winter 2010 College Fair in their community
