Athletes compete and fight hunger with Summit League Food Drive

Join the Golden Grizzlies for the 2010 Summit League Food Fight food drive beginning on Saturday, Jan. 2, through Saturday, Jan. 16, as part of an initiative by the Summit League Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and Students Team Up To Fight Hunger (STUFH) for a league-wide community service project.

All fans are encouraged to help OU student athletes by bringing monetary donations or canned food items to the O’rena during this two week period. Donations will help OU win the 2010 Food Fight and help fight hunger. The Summit League school to collect the largest amount of food, measured in pounds, will win the Summit League Food Fight trophy and help local families in need in 2010.
