LGBTQA scholarship donations receive matching funds from dean

Oakland University’s All University Fund Drive has received an additional incentive from Julie Voelck, dean of the library.

Voelck will match gifts and pledges designated to the Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay, Transgender, Questioning and Ally Scholarship fund totalling up to $1,000 . This will be in addition to the 50 percent matching donation that Gary Russi, university president, has pledged.

To contribute to this scholarship, donations should be made through AUFD and be designated to the LGBTQA Scholars Award on the form. All donations are tax deductible and can be designated toward a specific area.

Checks and the AUFD form should be sent through campus mail in the envelope provided to University Relations, Annual Giving Department, John Dodge House.
