Meadow Brook Hall launches new items to online gift shop
The Hall offers many items at their online store.
Visitors to Meadow Brook Hall, as well as Oakland University alumni and supporters, now have access to a wider array of souvenirs and gift items paying tribute to one of the nation’s most elegant historic mansions.
What’s more, the full selection of apparel, books and DVDs, posters and prints, tabletop items, stationary and more can now be purchased online at The Hall’s gift shop Web site.
Kelly Lenda, community relations manager for Meadow Brook Hall, said expansion of the commemorative item inventory comes in response to inquiries The Hall staffers have received from visitors. About 50 different items are now available, and Lenda said there is still more to come.
She added that the recent introduction of the online shop will cater to alumni and area natives now living outside the area, as well as to out-of-towners who’ve visited The Hall and would like something more to keep or share.
The gift item also may be of interest for people planning bridal parties and corporate events at Meadow Brook Hall. Discounts are available for items purchased in bulk.
While online shopping offers a great convenience to Hall supporters, those who tour the 110-room, Tudor-revival style museum during this year’s Holiday Walk will have the advantage of browsing a number of holiday-related gift items not available online.
The 38th annual Holiday Walk, which provides a festive opportunity to see the mansion aglow with historic and holiday treasures, takes place Friday, Nov. 27, through Wednesday, Dec. 23.
