OU Inc. executive director to participate in economic forecast forum
The Oakland University community is invited to attend the 2010 Economic Update and Forecast Panel Discussion, sponsored by the Young Professionals of Rochester, the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Oakland University Alumni Association. Among invited speakers is David Spencer, executive director of the Oakland University SmartZone Business INCubator.
The free event will take place from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11, at the Rochester Hills Public Library.
Community leaders will gather to discuss the Michigan and Rochester area economies and what is being done to retain and attract young talent and businesses. In addition to Spencer, expected guest panelists include Nicholas Banda, director of economic and community development for the City of Rochester, and Dan Casey, manager of economic development for the City of Rochester Hills.
