Technology Learning Center at OU’s Kresge Library to provide staff and students with state-of-the-art instructional support

What: Oakland University will celebrate the grand opening of its new Technology Learning Center in the Kresge Library. This state-of-the-art facility – which offers computer workstations, laptops, software, Web 2.0 access, a wireless network, digital resources, peripherals and media computers with large-screen LCD monitors – ¬was designed by staff and students to put Oakland at the forefront of faculty creativity and student learning, as well as strengthen the role of the library as the heart of campus.

Who: Speaking at the grand opening will be University President Gary Russi, Senior Vice president of Academic Affairs and Provost Virinder Moudgil, Assistant Vice President of e-Learning and Instructional Support Cathryn Cheal, and Kresge Library Dean Julie Voelck.
