On October 10, 2009, a one-day (free) workshop on Embedded Systems was held at Oakland University. It was sponsored jointly by Oakland University, IEEE South East Michigan Computer Society Chapter, and GL-Spin. This was the seventh in a series of in-depth workshops on embedded system design and applications. The aim of this workshop is to disseminate knowledge, benefit the IEEE members and indirectly improve the technology and Michigan economy. Speakers and experts from the embedded systems industry made presentations, and were available for discussion and networking throughout the day.
