Sponsored by the Center for Student Activities (CSA), the event will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 2 in the Oakland Center Banquet Rooms. Students can register for this event at the CSA Web site and click on the “Events” link.

The Student Affairs Ice Cream Social will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3 outside the Oakland Center between North and South Foundation Halls. Later that day, the Association of Black Students and Center for Multicultural Initiatives will co-host a Welcome Barbeque from 6 - 9 p.m. at Hamlin Basketball Court.

Students also can discover opportunities to get involved on campus by attending the Student and Greek Organizations Fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 8 in the Oakland Center.

The GreekFest will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10 between O’Dowd Hall and the Kresge Library. Later that day, the eighth annual Campus Recreation vs. University Housing Tailgate Party will be held from 6-8 p.m. in the Upper fields followed by the Flag Football Challenge.

Festivities will conclude with the Student Program Board and Student Activities Funding Board fourth annual Carnival from 7 p.m. to midnight on Friday, Sept. 11 in parking lot P-11.
