Thank you, Ambassadors, for your passion and service to your alma mater! As active participants in the Alumni Admissions Ambassador Program (AAAP), you have made a meaningful difference!
From October 9, 2007 nearly 100 active ambassadors have contributed over 320 volunteer hours of service at 76 undergraduate recruitment events. Over 5,000 points of contact have been made with prospective students and their parents throughout the country.
With record breaking out-of-state applications from 45 different states, a waiting list for on campus housing, and projected increased enrollment for Fall 2009, I say thank you for helping spread the word about Oakland on a national level while sharing the value of the OU experience at countless college fairs, on campus open houses, welcome receptions, and high school visits.
The AAAP was created through the Resource Development Fund (RDF) to strategically advance and creatively position Oakland University. Through your engagement as active participants in the university’s undergraduate recruitment efforts across the state of Michigan and throughout the country the two-year fund has been extended ~ because of your dedication and commitment to your alma mater.
Thank you!
