OUAA Student Scholarships

Through the Oakland University Alumni Association (OUAA) Scholarship program, more and more students are able to achieve their dream of pursuing an Oakland University degree. For the 2009-10 academic year 28 students were selected to receive scholarships in all totaling $65,000. 

Scholarship recipients are selected across all disciplines and include incoming freshmen, current undergraduates, and OU alumni who have returned for an additional degree.

To date, the OUAA has awarded more than $ 940,000 in scholarship funds to worthy Oakland students. Scholarship funds are provided through the generous contributions of OUAA members, and raised through events and programs.

From its inception, the alumni association’s mission has been to build and nurture relationships that connect and engage alumni. Through the scholarship program, the OUAA facilitates lifelong connections between student scholarship recipients and alumni.
