Technology Training Center offers three workshops in May
The Technology Training Center at Oakland University will be hosting three workshops during the month of May. The first workshop will be held on Saturday, May 9 and will teach participants how to use Microsoft Word. The other two workshops, to be held on Saturday, May 16 and Saturday, May 30 will cover Microsoft Excel. The workshops will be held in partnership with the Oakland University School of Business Administration’s Center for Executive and Continuing Education.
The Technology Training Center features the latest equipment and on-site support to help business leaders maximize efficiency in technology training and can accommodate large or small groups in a conference, round table or classroom setting. A trainer PC with HDTV and touch-screen technology provides dynamic presentation capabilities that enhance training experiences for all. A superior sound system combined with oversized flat-monitors gives each participant an ideal environment in which to learn new technology.
In addition, the facility offers a complete array of technology-based services, including a wireless internet connection, CD and DVD-burning, color laser-printing, digital and still video cameras and DVD/VHS capabilities. The facility’s close proximity to area hotels and access to catering services add to its continuing emergence as a premier destination for technology training in southeast Michigan.
