Summer Soccer Camps offer discount for early registration

Registration for the 2009 Oakland Soccer Camps are in full swing. Participants who sign up by Friday May 1 will receive 2007 prices as part of the Camp Stimulus Package.

The boys and girls half- and full-day camps take place June 22-26 and July 20-24, the boys resident camp for field players and goalkeepers will be July 12-16 and July 26-30, the boys high school team camp will run July 24-26 and the boys college recruiting camp is July 31.

Each camp caters to a different skill level and many offer specific technique work based on positions and individual goals. Every type of player is welcome, from beginning and developing players to those seeking to be recruited to NCAA Division I men’s soccer programs.

Prices for the camps vary from $130-$495, depending on the different type and length of individual camp. Regardless of title, these camps are open to all, limited only by age, gender and the number of entrants, according to the Web site.
