Discounted Red Wings playoff tickets available to OU community
Reigning hockey champions the Detroit Red Wings will play their first two games of the National Hockey League’s 2009 Stanley Cup Playoffs this week at Joe Louis Arena.
Discounted tickets are available to the Oakland University community for $40 and can be reserved at the CSA service window in the Oakland Center. There will be a $2 service fee on these tickets, originally priced at $60.
Game One against the Columbus Blue Jackets will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, and Game Two at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 18.
The third and fourth games of the best-of-seven Western Conference Quarterfinals series will be played in Columbus. This is the first time the Blue Jackets have made the finals.
