Counseling Center offers free life guidance services
The School of Education and Human Services (SEHS) Counseling Center at Oakland University provides personal and career counseling services free of charge to individuals, couples, families and groups.
Counseling is conducted by graduate-level student counselors who are closely supervised by professionals. Clients can address a variety of issues including life transitions, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship problems and school difficulties. Counselors typically work with clients in 50-minute sessions held once per week over a period of five to 14 weeks.
The SEHS Counseling Center is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. The center is located in Pawley Hall Room 250 on the campus of Oakland University.
