Upcoming Transfer Open Houses will give community college and university students interested in transferring to Oakland University the opportunity to learn more about Oakland’s distinctive educational programs and the admissions process. The next open house is planned from 5-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 12.
Prospective students will be able to ask academic advisers from each university department about admission requirements and learning opportunities. Prospective Golden Grizzlies can apply to OU and receive an immediate admissions decision by bringing unofficial transcripts from each college or university they’ve attended. Students are asked to bring two copies of each transcript.
There also will be information about academic programs, admissions requirements, financial aid, general education requirements and transfer credit procedures. Representatives will be available to answer questions and concerns about transferring credits from other institutions. Accepted students can sign up for orientation at the open house as well.
To register for the Transfer Open House, visit the online reservation Web page or call OU’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions at (800) OAK-UNIV.
