CSA to host trips to Cleveland, Grand Rapids

As part of the Oakland University’s “Cities” theme this year, the Center for Student Activities will host Explore a City a Month with excursions to major metropolitan areas in March and April.

 

On Saturday, March 21, a trip to Cleveland will include visits to the Cleveland Museum of Art, Tower City Center and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame & Museum. Participants will leave OU at 6:30 a.m. and return to campus at 9 p.m.

 

The cost is $12 for students and $17 for adults, which covers the cost of the admission into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame & Museum. Bus transportation and admission to the Cleveland Museum of Art are free. Participants will be able to purchase meals at Tower City Center, where there are many restaurants including Hard Rock Café and a food court.

 

On Saturday, April 4, a trip to Grand Rapids will include a visit to Meijer Gardens and a tour of the downtown area Participants will leave OU at 7:30 a.m. and return to campus at 7:30 pm

 

The cost is $7 for students and adults, which covers the cost of the admission into Meijer Gardens. Bus transportation is free. Participants will be able to purchase meals either at Meijer Gardens or in downtown Grand Rapids.
