Graduate of the Biomedical Sciences PhD Program Gets Tenure Track Assistant Professor Position


What kind of jobs do OU PhD graduates get? Yijun Tang, a 2008 graduate of the Biomedical Sciences: Health and Environmental Chemistry PhD program recently accepted an offer to be a tenure track assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Tang was supported during his graduate studies by the Oakland University's Research Excellence Fund, and was supervised by Associate Professor Xiangqun Zeng, of the Department of Chemistry. For his PhD research, Tang studied the Development, Characterization and Applications of Electrodes Modified With Conductive Polymers, Ionic Liquids and Proteins. Congratulations to Dr. Tang.
