Approximately 60% of OU students receive financial aid to assist with the cost of their education. Now is the time to apply for financial aid for the upcoming school year. It is important to complete the 2009-2010 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the school year that begins with fall 2009 and runs through summer 2010. To maximize your financial aid award package, we recommend completing the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov as soon as possible. Applying early insures the fullest consideration for financial aid as well as your financial planning.
The OU Financial Aid Office will begin to send financial aid award notifications in March. You should check your OU email and your SAIL account regularly. If the Financial Aid Office requests additional information or documents respond promptly to insure timely processing of awards.
