Medical Physics Graduate Student Publishes Part of his Dissertation


Asamoah Bosomtwi, a recent graduate of the Biomedical Sciences: Medical Physics PhD program, had part of his dissertation published in the December 2008 issue of the Journal of Cerebral Blood Flow and Metabolism (Quantitative Evaluation of Microvascular Density After Stroke in Rats Using MRI, Volume 28, Pages 1978-1987). Bosomtwi was supervised by adjunct faculty member Quan Jiang, of the Department of Neurology at Henry Ford Hospital, and Distinguished Professor Michael Chopp. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Cape Coast in Ghana, and currently works at the Yerkes National Primate Research Center of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
