A composite sketch of the subject in last night's attempted purse snatching has been posted in buildings throughout campus.

This evening, a female student was approached by a male subject who attempted to steal her purse. At the time, the victim was outside between 3000 and 4000 University Student Apartments (USA).
The subject is described as a black male, approximately 23 years old, with a dark complexion and a goatee. Subject is approximately 6' tall and 200 pounds, wearing a blue or black knit hat, a blue raincoat, and blue jeans.
The subject escaped on foot in an unknown direction without the victim's purse. The victim sustained no injuries.
A composite sketch of the subject is being prepared, and it will be posted by OUPD and University Housing in residence facilities on campus shortly.
