Propelling Your Career: Alumni Expert Panel Discussion

The Oakland University Alumni Association invites you to attend an interactive panel discussion on the “Employment Crisis in Michigan,” May 19, 2009 from 7:15 – 9 a.m. in the Oakland Center Oakland Room. The panel will consist of OU alumni with expertise in human resource and business management including Paul Casaceli, CAS ‘94, Marie Asselin, SEHS ‘00, and Barry Gray, CAS ‘99. They will discuss the future of job growth in Michigan, types of services available to the unemployed, and how to market yourself if you are without a job. Get an insider perspective on how to set yourself apart from the rest of the competition in a tight job market. This is your chance to ask questions and hear from industry experts.

Matthew Karrandja, CAS ‘97, will moderate the discussion. There will be an opportunity for networking from 7:15 to 8 a.m. as well as after the panel discussion. Admission is $5 for OUAA Members and $10 for non-members and includes a continental breakfast.
